Zenvix apps by Starasoft · Last updated 16 September 2026

This policy explains what information the Zenvix apps use and why. It covers:

These are business apps. They are used by the staff and riders of restaurants that use the Zenvix platform, and an account is created by the restaurant (or approved by it, for riders who sign up).

Information we use

Account information. Your mobile phone number is used to sign you in with a one-time code. Your name, role and the restaurant branch you work for are shown in the apps so your team knows who took an order or delivery.

Orders and restaurant data. The apps show and record the orders you create or deliver: items, prices, payments, table or delivery details, and the customer name, phone number and delivery address the restaurant needs to fulfil the order. This data belongs to the restaurant you work for.

Location (Zenvix eRider only). While you have an active delivery, eRider uses your precise location, including when the app is in the background, so the restaurant and the customer can follow the delivery and so delivery time and distance are recorded. Background location tracking stops when no delivery is active. You are asked for permission first, and you can change it at any time in your phone's settings. Zenvix POS may ask for location permission only because Android requires it to discover nearby Bluetooth printers; POS does not record or send your location.

Photos (Zenvix eRider only). eRider asks you to take a verification photo when you start a delivery ride, and you can add a profile photo. Photos are uploaded to secure cloud storage (Google Firebase) and linked to the restaurant's delivery record or your profile. The camera is only used when you take a photo.

App diagnostics. When an error happens, the apps send an error report (the error message and the screen it happened on) so we can fix problems. Zenvix POS sends these reports to our own servers after removing phone numbers, email addresses and passwords. Zenvix eRider and Zenvix Reports use Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash reports, Firebase Performance Monitoring for app performance, and Firebase Analytics for basic usage statistics, which use an advertising identifier provided by Android for analytics only. Zenvix Staff Ordering shows the restaurant's ordering website and adds no analytics of its own. None of these reports include your orders.

How information is used and shared

Security and retention

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access is restricted by signed-in account, restaurant and branch permissions. Account and order data is kept for as long as the restaurant uses Zenvix, or as required for its accounting and legal records; diagnostic data is kept only as long as needed to fix problems.

Your choices and account deletion

You can update your details, and you can ask for your account and its personal data to be deleted. Riders can also request deletion from Account inside eRider, and Reports users from Profile > Delete account. See how to delete your account. Order records the restaurant is legally required to keep are retained without your personal details where possible.

Children

These apps are for adult restaurant staff and riders and are not directed at children under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is published on this page with a new date.
